Cougar Club Internship

Post #5 Date(s): 9/11 - 9/26 Activities: Website design, Creating and distributing information Technical Information: Website design(Wordpress), e-marketing (Mail Chimp), Online Ordering My main contribution to Apex Cougar Club is to post/communicate with students/alumni about what is going on with Apex Athletics. This is done through various forms including emails and webpages. Through my communication with students and alumni more people are aware what is going on at Apex High School, and more people know when/what athletic events are going on. I also have a role as somewhat of a historian through my contribution to creating the Apex Hall of Fame Website, which I feel very proud about creating. The hall of fame game for football recently occured, so I was happy to be able to help that information to be communicated through the website. It's exciting when your work is finally being shown off to the people that are featured on the website.

When my boss described what I was going to do at the beginning of my internship, I thought there would be some other very challenging tasks, but, she covered exactly everything that I was going to do at the beginning of the internship.  I do not have control what I do in my internship because I am assigned to accomplish certain tasks, and it is my job to make sure that those tasks are accomplished. School has just recently started so it has been harder to get my work done but I still do get it done. With football, school, and this internship I have become very good at managing my time.
