Blog 1: The purpose of Apex Cougar Club

Apex Cougar Club is the booster club for our high school. The booster club funds and supports all athletic teams and various school functions. All of the people I work for are volunteers who volunteer their time to help the Cougar Club function. The Cougar Club gets funds through fundraisers, donations, ticket sales, and many other ways.
As one of the interns of Apex Cougar Club I have many tasks to accomplish. My first task that I have been working on is creating the apex hall of fame site, but it is still in the beginning phases. Once the school year starts I will start to send out weekly emails to inform parents/students/alumni about various athletic events going on. I also recently wrote a story about the upcoming football season, in order to give a preview of the team (I should know this information pretty well since I am on the football team). I will mostly be working with my supervisor Beth to accomplish all of my tasks.
