The website design skills that I have learned from classes like e-commerce have not helped me at all because I am using a different program to create the sites. I have been using Wordpress which makes it a thousand times easier to create and edit web pages. The knowledge of HTML could've been helpful if I was using a program like notepad ++ but Wordpress is nothing like that, there is no coding at all, it's a bit more like dreamweaver.
I have had a very chaotic week this past week. I finally finished the hall of fame site, but I didn't finish it without my fareshare of problems. Wordpress was down for a while and I was unable to get on the site for hours. After much trouble shooting I was able to login and finish the site. The site took a long time to finish and it required a lot of communication with my boss and the hall of fame inductees. Some people took weeks to just send me a few pictures, which was frustrating.
